About Us

We are a bunch of folks who Love God and passionately desire to do His Will. We envision a time when our Country will return to God’s Divine leadership and acknowledge His Lordship, principles, and our moral compass aligns with HIS Word.

Pastor Roger, Leaders, and Teachers at COH emphasize relationship & prayer as the main ingredients to accomplish God’s Will for Individuals, Families, the Church, and our Country. We believe that if we will build a righteous relationship with God through Intercessory Prayer and Bible study couched in complete Obedience to Him; our Communities, County, State and then Country can come to accept His guidance and receive His Blessings.

To put a reason to why as well as the how Church of the Harvest began we must first look at the command given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 which reads “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

The next reason also comes from Jesus when He said in Matthew 9:38 and Luke 10:2. “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” With this prayer and the desire to be obedient to our Lord and Savior, A small group consisting of fourteen ordinary folks, serving an Awesome God, understood that all around them were precious people living a life that offered much less than what God had planned for them. The thing that was even worse is that many were dying lost and forever separated from the Father who created them. Hungry to know more and burdened with a desire to make a difference in the world for the Kingdom of God, we took turns having Bible Studies, Worship Services, & Prayer Meetings in our homes. Through much fasting & prayer the Church with its clear purpose and leaders was birthed in our Hearts. God’s Word spoke forcefully to the group about meeting physical needs in order to successfully minister to the Spiritual needs of a hurting and dying world. The picture that best depicts this purpose is told in the Book of Second Kings chapter four where we learn of a destitute woman with one cruise of oil as her only monetary possession. We see the woman walking in total obedience and the need in her life met. We learned from this short passage that within ourselves we have very little but with God in control the little is more than enough. God then made a way for us to rent a building to meet in as we began to grow. He continued to grow us spiritually and in number, so much so that we needed a larger place. God provided a larger building and now we have a place of Worship where we each eagerly assume the responsibility of following God’s Command by providing discipleship training, laborers for God’s harvest fields, and proclaiming the Good News.
